Gunnar's Story
Gunnar is a young male mixed breed now 1 year old and currently 54 lbs. Gunnar was brought in as a stray, and he was initially very fearful. Animal Control Officer Becky gave him space and worked to show him she was a trusted friend and soon won him over. <br/><br/>Gunnar came in wearing an odd harness contraption, so he obviously had owners at one point. He dislikes the solitude of the pound and cries for attention. Gunnar would do well with an adopter who seeks a dog who wants to be their close companion. <br/><br/>Gunnar has beem impounded in animal control since Febuary 2025. He has literally grown up in the pound. He deserves a chance to have a loving home or his own! <br/><br/>Gunnar is heartworm tested and is negative!<br/><br/>Malden Animal Control in a municipal rural dog pound without a budget for vetting. Adopters are required to prepay for rabies vaccination that must occur before adoption. Alteration must be completed within 30 days of adoption.
