Gummy Bear is an ~8-year-old Chihuahua who somehow managed to stay incredibly sweet despite clearly having a rough go of it before landing with us. He came in as a stray, underweight, with some serious dental issues and an umbilical hernia - but he’s now fully healed, missing a few teeth (11, to be exact), and feeling much better about life.<br/><br/>Now this little gentleman is ready for his furever home! Gummy is a quiet, gentle guy who gets along well with other dogs and would prefer to spend his days cuddled up with his person - or fully burrowed under a blanket like the tiny burrito he is. He’s calm, easygoing, affectionate, and has that soft, soulful expression that makes you want to drop everything you’re doing and just hold him.<br/><br/>One thing to know: Gummy has dry eye in his left eye, which means he needs daily medicated drops plus lubricating drops a few times a day. He’s very polite about it and will not fight you (he is too busy being small and perfect).<br/><br/>Gummy Bear is neutered, up to date on vaccines, medically cleared, and ready for a cozy forever home where he can enjoy the good life he clearly always deserved.
