Gumdrop's Story

3/23/26 Gumdrop😍
This beautiful little girl is ready to find her people! With her slightly longer jet black coat, of the litter, she looks the most like a lab. She is one of the smaller of the litter and may be around 50 lbs once grown.
She’s very bright and lovesss being held, she knows “good girl” means she’s gonna get a treat and she seems to get that it’s happening when she goes potty outside. She seems to also get that clapping for her means “come here.”
This litter was born to a stray who took up residence in someone's garage to try to keep her babies safe. Mom is a black lab mix (maybe mixed with Weimeraner?) who weighs about 40 pounds. She is very shy and timid. We brought mom and babies into rescue when babies were about 3-4 weeks old. They are now about 8-9 weeks old.
These babies are so beautiful and sweet! They are not crazy energetic puppies. They are more on the chill side. They are observers, opting to sit back and check things out before diving in to new situations. I think this demonstrates intelligence on their part. They do love to play, but they also love to be picked up and held like the babies they are.
We don't know what these babies are mixed with, and it is likely there are several different "candy makers" in this batch!
She is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
In New England
To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059
email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions
