Meet Gumbo

This handsome, cool dude is Gumbo. He came to the shelter as a stray dog, so now he’s dreaming of a new loving home where he can be the best buddy forever. He will have to have a home off base because of his breed. We think he is 3 years old, and he has a very nice personality with a bit of a silly streak. Gumbo knows “sit” and likes a tasty treat as a reward. He has a very gentle mouth when taking treats from you. He walks nicely on a leash, and we are pretty sure he is house-trained because he keeps a clean kennel and waits to get outside to go potty. He enjoys playing with rugged doggy toys, and he will sometimes have “a conversation” with you. He has gorgeous marking with that white shawl-collar sweater. We don’t know how he is with other dogs yet, but give us a call and we might have an update on that.
Adoption fee $50 includes neuter, vaccinations, and micro-chip.
