Born: April 2023<br/>Guero is the kind of dog who makes you smile before you even say hello. With his big, dopey grin and goofy charm, he greets the world with a bounce in his step and a heart wide open. His rescue story is a mystery—we don’t know how he ended up here—but we do know he arrived alongside his mom Mezcal and his sister Mezcala. Both have since found loving homes. Guero is still waiting.<br/>Now an adult, Guero has grown into a noble, affectionate companion with a calm, steady energy. He’s active, but not wild—just the right mix of playful and relaxed. He lives peacefully with other dogs in his kennel and isn’t afraid of anything (except maybe missing out on a cuddle). He adores people and has a signature move: a joyful jump to say hello, tail wagging like a flag of friendship.<br/>Guero has been at our shelter for so very long. That’s a long time for a dog who’s ready to give his whole heart. He’s gentle. He’s goofy. He’s good. And he’s waiting for someone to see past the silly face and into the soul of a dog who deserves a home.<br/><br/>He is currently in Nayarit, Mexico - ready to fly to his new home or be adopted locally.
