Guatauba

Guatauba is a sweet, playful girl who has overcome more than any dog should have to. When she arrived at our shelter, she had small gun pellets crusted into her body and her tail had been cut off. Despite her past, she has never been aggressive and absolutely loves other dogs, especially playful puppies and energetic big dogs!<br/><br/>Guatauba is cautious with people and needs time to trust, but she has made incredible progress after a month of intensive training to build her confidence. When approached calmly, she may freeze, but she allows you to touch her and has never reacted aggressively. She walks well, is house-trained, and does great with a harness and leash.<br/><br/>Guatauba has been with us for a long time. She doesn't need someone to fix her—she needs a patient, understanding home willing to accept her as she is and give her the time and love she needs to continue building confidence.
