He's affectionate, gentle, and just a darling little boy! Grover enjoys going for short walks, snuggling with you & a cozy blanket, loves car rides, and chasing his beloved stuffy toys. The little guy also loves warm baths, and doesn't mind going to the groomer! (He must see a groomer every 8-10 weeks, to keep his skin and coat healthy and free from matting... He also appreciates being brushed a few times a week)! We've been working on house training, and Grover does best with a consistent schedule for going outside (he does have occasional accidents as he's learning). Grover is crate-trained, though he really hates it... his ideal family would be one where someone is home more often than not. This little velcro guy loves people and can get underfoot; since he slides quietly along & slips through doorways in a flash to stay by your side, his nickname is "Eel". Grover is playful with other dogs, but would prefer not to live with another dog, so he can have the lion's share of attention; he has ignored cats. He needs soft/softened food ongoing (we have easy ideas for this!), loves cooked veggies, and has a great appetite. Grover is fine around children, but we are looking for an adult family due to his sweet "eel" qualities and small size. He's a delightful little guy who will thrive in a loving, patient family who will play with him (he loves allll the toys!); take him for daily short walks; and love him always!
