Grotto's Story

ISO of a new block head friend?<br/>Grotto is a ~4 year old Pit/Lab/maybe Chow? mix who was picked up as a stray in the western end of the county. He had no microchip or identification and no one came forward for him. Grotto is a big hugger who would very much like to not be at the shelter. Grotto went to a week long training assessment, where did great with the trainer's dogs! He was very neutral. He's very food/treat motivated as well, Grotto has been neutered, chipped, and fully vetted.

Goochland Animal Protection's Adoption Policy

All of the animals at our shelter leave with age appropriate vaccinations and many have been spayed/neutered. If they haven't, you will sign a contract stating that the animal you are adopting will be fixed. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested. Animal are also dewormed and receive flea/tick treatment. Adoption Fees: Dogs: $90 Cats: $75
