Grits is what they call me, mighty unique looking is what I am. I've been told I'm a male blue heeler and my colour is blue merle. I'm about 3.5 months old, born in September 2025 and I currently weigh about 7 lbs. When I'm full grown, I should be a medium sized dog. , remember I should be medium size baby when i am grown up. My foster mom says I'm a great ball of fun.

I'm so lucky that I came to RTRC; they saved my life – for real. Now that the worst of my life is over, I would totally love to trust, just cuddle and love someone for the first time. Oh, ya puppy kisses are a must!

Toys are my choice (sigh). My foster mommy loves watching me play with my toys or your toys. You know you have to share right! That’s right play is my game. I love to rip and snort. I'm pretty much learning to love everything in life, I am very gentle too. Want to cuddle next? (dreaming of this)

I do my business inside on puppy pee pads as I am too young to go outside since I'm not fully vaccinated against diseases. I am learning to go outside on the porch though. When I do my business outside, I get a treat when I come in! Oh my! How fab is that? You know, you could get me to do a lot for a treat.

I love a good treat. Don’t forget that I am still a puppy, so I need to go out often. A treat and some praise every time I do things right would be so good for me! Remember you need lots of time for this. My foster mom still puts pee pads down just in case I need a quick spot!

I love hanging out and playing with my foster siblings. You know I love to watch what’s going on; hey did you see that. I haven’t met felines before and I don’t care about them; just make them play with me please. Do you think could make friends with your kitty or child? Dreaming of all the fond memories we can create!

Let's cut to the chase, you want me, and I want you! So…no game playing here that comes later. Don’t forget I am high energy guy that loves to cuddle and kiss. Fill out an application so that the rescue can tell you more about me. Filling it out doesn't mean you HAVE to adopt me, but it gives the rescue a jumping off point to start talking with you about me!

Remember I am still a puppy so there some work involved in making me a great dog. Let’s teach each other

At Rat Terrier Rescue Canada we pride ourselves on matching our dogs with their best furever homes.
