Grinch's Story
Meet Grinch!

He came in with his littermates (Dr. Seuss theme) after his owner passed.

He has spent a couple of weeks in foster with one of his sister's, Sneetch. Now they are both ready for homes of their own.

Here's what their foster had to say, "Grinch is a sweet little bundle of energy. He can be a bit shy meeting new people, but once he gets to know you, he adores you. He loves to play and would do best in an active household where he has a lot of opportunities to burn off energy. He has a tendency to chew, so he needs plenty of chew toys and long-lasting chew treats (he loves Wellness Whimzees "antler" treats). It might be a good idea to buy a bottle of anti-chew spray and to keep hazardous things like electric extension cords well protected. Grinch has lived in a foster home with two dogs -- one old and one young. He plays very enthusiastically with the young one, and gives the old one his space when he wants it. Grinch's foster home also had two cats, which Grinch really wanted to make friends with, but the cats weren't interest (probably because he comes on a little strong!). Grinch is treat-motivated and trainable. He is used to wearing a harness, and learning to walk on a leash. He is still working on housebreaking, but he when he needs to do his business indoors, he uses potty pads about 99% of the time."

---------------------------------------------------
Hours: 11am-4pm each day
No appointments required

Disclaimer: Please only use our website (https://www.hshobart.org/adopt/adoptable-animals) to apply for pets.
