While she may be shy and reserved at first, with patience and the right environment, she blossoms into an affectionate and playful companion. This special girl thrives in the company of other dogs and requires a home with a confident canine sibling to help her feel safe and secure. She absolutely loves playing with her furry friends and her favorite toys, making for some heartwarming and entertaining moments! Grimes is fully housebroken and non-destructive, making her an easy companion in the home. While she doesn't pull on the leash, she's not a huge fan of walks, she prefers a laid-back lifestyle and would rather lounge in the yard-so a fenced yard is a must for her. She does have a lifelong medical condition that requires daily medication, but don't let that deter you - it's completely managed and doesn't interfere with her daily activities. She's just looking for the right person-someone patient, understanding, and willing to let her open up at her own pace. SAFPAW Outreach and Rescue (SOAR)'s Adoption Policy

Our goal is to make this as easy as possibly, while also ensuring that we are placing our animals in homes that fit their needs/wants/lifestyle. We start by asking you to fill out an adoption application. Once that is done, an adoption counselor will be in contact with you to discuss your application and answer any potential questions. After you are approved for adoption for a particular animal, we do a 2 week foster to adopt process. We truly want to make sure that this next home, is the forever home for that animal; therefore we give you some time to really see if the fit is in fact a match! This also helps to alleviate any pressure on potential adopters in the event that it just isn't a great match.
