Gretel's Story

Hansel and Gretel are a bonded pair and are in search of their happily ever after together. Hansel is a sweet little guy who enjoys following his person around the home and seeking out attention. He is calm and quiet, but will give a little bark if he is surprised. When he needs comfort, he will seek out Gretel and give kisses. Gretel is an independent senior who enjoys lounging alone or with her person. She enjoys belly pats and chin scratches and will sit nicely for both. Their favorite past times are chasing each other around their foster parents' home and cuddling for nap time. Hansel has a 1/2 grade luxating patella, but it is not recommended that he undergo surgery due to his age. Gretel is a little stiff due to old age, but she is otherwise healthy and comfortable. Hansel and Gretel both walk well on the leash and understand how to potty outside, but they will need their new family to show them where to go. They enjoy getting attention from new people and are tolerant of other dogs. Hansel and Gretel are sweet seniors and would do well in a calm and patient home that understands their unique bond. The poms are 8 and 9 years old and weigh 11 and 14 pounds.
