Gretel's Story

12/1 Gretel update:
This sweet girl grew up in the shelter while her brother Hanson found his forever home. Left alone and shy, she waited patiently for someone to take a chance on her, and now she's thriving in her temporary foster home!

She's learning that the world isn't so scary and LOVES making furry friends. She even roughhouses with dogs twice her size! 🐾

She's crate trained and thinks of her crate as her own little safe haven...perfect for meals, naps, or a quick hideaway if she gets spooked.

With her sweet, gentle nature, she's going to make someone an absolutely amazing companion ❤️. Could that someone be you?

**************************************************************

Gretel loves the outdoors! She's 11 months old and has been a MOAS dog for 173 days, most of her life. She's in a temporary foster home where she's doing well and learning how to be a dog. Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.

Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each.
