Gretchen's Story

This little girl was found on the street in Puerto Rico with her siblings. Thank to a flight angel who volunteered to take her as a carry on luggage she arrived to Denver to find a better future.

Gretchen is a very sweet small girl, with a brown coat, and lighter legs with some brown speckles. At 4MO she weights only 13 lb and that's why we think she may grow up to 25-30lb max. She is not timid at all, full of energy and very playful. Gretchen likes to cuddle and be close to her human. She follows me everywhere, even into the shower! Water does not scare her at all.
She is very food motivated and can be guarding any place where there is food from other dogs. Probably still remembers being hungry on the street and food guarding will be something to work on.

Gretchen is up to date on her initial vaccinations, awaiting spay and microchip.

If you are interested in adopting this pup, please fill out the application here:
https://amigosdelosanimalespr.org/adoption-application/
----------------------------------------------

We ask for a $400 donation as the adoption fee, to help cover the costs of medical services and transport. We are however willing to accept a lesser amount to finalize the adoption with appropriate applicant.

Any profit will go directly to our shelter in Puerto Rico to help rescuing and re-homing homeless, abused animals. We are their voice, and you can be a part of our rescue mission.
