You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gretchen is a very sweet Mini Schnauzer in search of her forever family.<br/><br/>She is doing very well in rescue and received a much needed and extensive dental. She is feeling so much better without all of that infection and pain in her mouth.<br/><br/>Gretchen does well with other dogs in her foster home and she is discovering that toys are pretty fun to play with.<br/><br/>She is working hard on her housetraining and doing well but will need continued consistency, etc.<br/><br/>ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:<br/><br/>Physically fenced in yard - walking on a leash/harness is very much a work in progress. A fenced in yard is a must.<br/>*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.<br/><br/>Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice.
