Greta's Story

Greta is a sweet, soulful coonhound mix girl approximately 7 years old & 55lbs looking for her furever home.

Greta was found as a stray in East Tennessee and was pulled from a county shelter on her euthanasia day. It’s clear that she had a harder life before coming to rescue, but she definitely enjoys all of the comforts of the good life now.

Greta is a sweet, soulful gal who needs an owner who will help her continue to gain confidence and understand her sensitive nature.

Greta loves other dogs and currently lives with several dogs ranging in age from 16 to 2 years. While she does well with all of them, she plays best with more outgoing and playful personalities in the group.

Greta also loves toys, chews, soft blankets and snuggles/pets. And even though she’s older, she still loves to wrestle and play with the other dogs.

Since Greta is still getting accustomed to the good life and counts of her foster fur siblings for support, Greta needs a home with dogs companionship.

If interested in Greta, please apply at herohounds.org/adopt
