Greta's Story

We don't think Greta can take a bad picture; she is perfect! She is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 37 pounds.

Meet Greta, a gentle and affectionate young girl who's searching for her forever family! This sweet pup only wants to please you and loves nothing more than to be close to her humans, whether that's leaning against you for some cuddles or snuggling right onto your lap. Greta can be a little submissive though, especially with loud noises and fast movements. She would really benefit from some confidence building, leadership and a supportive family who can help her continue to grow and flourish. She's such a gentle soul and just wants a family to love. She perks up with toys and can get the zoomies, it is a wonderful sight to see and will totally make you smile! Greta will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old. She would absolutely love it if you came to meet her.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Greta would love to meet them. She has a soft, loose and submissive approach with other dogs that moves into play. Greta looks to the other dog to lead the interaction.

If you are interested in Greta and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
