Greg's Story

Meet Greg!

Greg is going to be someone's heart dog.

He is gentle, trusting and loving. He does an amazing job on a leash and is incredibly attentive to his person. His missing eye does affect his ability to navigate new or tight places, but he does great in the yard and on a leash. He seems calm with other dogs and loves all people.

Greg came into the shelter very thin and with regular meals has been steadily gaining some weight. He is around 3 years old.

"Had the pleasure of fostering Greg through our recent storm. This sweet boy is a certified snuggle bug! He's gentle, affectionate and happiest when snuggling. He got along great with my cat and dog. Has a chill/laid back personality, didn't even bark once. Greg walks beautifully on a leash and is potty trained.
Not a huge fan of car rides. Once in he does ok. (Cracked a window open for him)
I noticed after day 3 Greg became a little possessive of me and would go out of his way to make sure my dog didn't get any of attention. Not sure if an issue, but worth mentioning if someone is considering adopting him in case they have another dog. I'm sure it would of worked itself out if we had more time with him.
Overall, Greg is a lovable, well mannered sweetheart capable of bringing joy, cuddles, companionship and charm to
his forever home." -From Greg's Foster
Come meet Greg at Taney County Animal Control!
