Green Bean's Story
Meet Green Bean! Green Bean is an approximately 3 month rescue GSD mutt who arrived in Seattle from Yakima on 11/18/25. Her approximate DOB is 9/11/25 and we think she will be large when fully grown. Like most puppies, Green Bean loves to play hard and nap harder! She loves toys and loves her people even more.

She is doing amazing with her current fosters! They report that she sleeps through the night in her crate, is great at leash walking, and making good progress with potty training. She gets along really well with her fosters’ two resident adult dogs. She loves everyone she meets and is very food motivated; she’s already learned a few basic commands and is working on more. Green Bean is the best in the car and so far does not need excessive exercise in order to stay calm throughout the day (as long as she is kept busy enough with periodic play time, walks, car rides, etc). Her lovely fosters have taken her to pet friendly bars/restaurants and soccer fields and say that Green Bean loves the attention but quickly settles for a snuggly nap.

Since Green Bean is a baby, we expect adopters to continue working with them on all the usual puppy things (potty training, crate training, leash training, separation anxiety, etc.). Fill out an adoption application at https://forms.gle/ZvvQobuhgmkU5AJEA if you'd like to meet them!

=================================================

***WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER INQUIRIES OR PHONE CALLS, ONLY EMAILS.***

If you have any additional questions, or would like to adopt a pup, send us an email at adoptions@rhas.love and we will send you an adopter survey. Please note that we are a foster to adopt only rescue. As a foster, you get to "test drive" your chosen dog to make sure it's a good fit prior to adoption. We want you and the dog to have the best fit possible!

Resilient Hearts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue in Seattle, WA. 100% of adoption fees go towards helping us save more high-risk animals, and unite them with their forever families in the PNW!
