Gravy Train McMuffin's Story
Hello, future family!
My name is Gravy Train McMuffin, but my foster family calls me Ducky 🐾
From my photos, you can tell I’m a German Shepherd or Shepherd mix, just on the smaller side. I’m about 4 months old and still have most of my puppy teeth—one little canine even fell out last week! I absolutely love kids of all ages, people, other dogs, and being outside.
Training & Traits:
Potty trained ✔️
Dog door trained ✔️
Leash trained ✔️
Kennel trained ❓ (hasn’t needed it yet!)
Dog friendly ✔️
People friendly ✔️
Kid friendly ✔️
Ducky would be a wonderful addition to just about any family. She’s incredibly smart and learns quickly by watching her foster siblings—that’s how she mastered potty training and the dog door so fast! She’ll politely whine at the door when she wants to go outside or play (and good luck getting her to come back in—she loves the outdoors).
She hasn’t been kennel trained simply because she hasn’t needed to be. With her furry siblings and toys, she’s perfectly content. She sleeps through the night most of the time, but if she needs something—like a potty break, playtime, or food—she’ll gently let you know. Speaking of food… she loves it! One reason she adores kids is the endless supply of crumbs they drop.
Ducky is excellent in the car and did great on her very first leash walk. She may pull a little when she spots another dog because she’s eager to say hello. Big crowds don’t bother her—though loud bagpipes are still a bit suspicious.
She enjoys wrestling with her furry siblings and running with little humans, but overall she’s a chill, laid-back pup. She’d thrive in either an active household or a more relaxed one.
Like all puppies, she’ll need continued training and time to learn her forever home’s routine—but she’s a quick learner, especially when treats are involved. 💕
If you’re looking for a smart, loving, and adaptable puppy, Ducky might just be your perfect match! 🐶💛
