Gravy's Story

This 80lb bundle of happiness is Gravy! A goofy, playful, affectionate guy. Gravy does great with cats, and- with a supervised introduction- other dogs who match his energy level. After spending the past couple of months in a busy foster home with rotating visitors and other foster dogs, Gravy has become confident, adaptable, and wonderfully social, with proper introduction steps. He's food-motivated but polite, even tolerating the resident cats sneaking bites from his bowl now and then.

While Gravy has a soft spot for women, he's happy to charm just about everyone. He has a gentle demeanor and excellent leash manners, is housebroken, crate trained, knows some tricks like paw/other paw, sit, lay down, off, sit/wait (when dinner is being served), and we're working on many more! Gravy is truly a gentleman and ready to be someone's loyal best friend.

Gravy's ideal home is one filled with love and patience, one that can advocate for proper respectful introduction with new people and furry friends. We recommend older children only. He will thrive in a home where he can soak up plenty of one-on-one attention, endless games of fetch (sticks are his favorite!), chest rubs, and spending time with his people.
