Gravel just arrived at his new foster home. They are getting to know him as he settles in and will update this bio as they learn more about his personality and behavior in their home. He is quite shy and timid at first, and can be startled easily, but is warming up with gentle encouragement after a couple days. He currently weighs about 30 pounds and his foster family is working with him on diet and exercise to loose weight. He enjoys going on their family 1 mile evening walks and is working on not pulling on leash. Gravel likes treats and knows sit and down. He is a smart boy and would love to learn more tricks and commands! Gravel eats and sleeps in his crate happily and has only had one accident so far with regular trips outside to go potty. He is currently living with gentle, respectful, dog-savvy older children, other gentle dogs and cats. He is a nervous guy that would benefit from an adopter that will work with him to help build his confidence.
