At around 5 years young, this sweet, chonky queen found her way to us as a stray and has been charming everyone she meets ever since.<br/><br/>Granny May is gentle, affectionate, and happiest when she's enjoying some cozy couch time with her favorite people. She has the cutest little wiggle, soulful soft eyes, and a personality that makes you feel like you've known her forever. She truly loves her humans and bonds deeply with her people.<br/><br/>While she is incredibly sweet with those she trusts, Granny May can be a bit selective--especially around men--and prefers slow, respectful introductions. She also has a protective streak when it comes to children, so she would do best in a calm, low-traffic home where she can feel safe and secure.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who's past the puppy chaos but full of warmth, devotion, and charm, Granny May is your girl. She's more than ready to leave stray life behind and settle into the good life with her forever family.An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $200.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice.<br/>Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00
