Graf's Story

Hi, I'm Graf! My foster mom calls me Mr. Dreamy—I'm told I am a handsome, squishy hunk of love! While my history is a bit of a mystery, I have demonstrated that I was likely loved and cared for most of my life. I am a great catch: I'm happy being a couch potato or going on hikes and visiting local dog-friendly establishments. I simply love being around my people. When it comes to my spa days, I'm good with getting my nails done with a Dremel, having my ears cleaned, and being brushed and wiped down. However, I have figured out where we are going when we approach the bathroom and will protest going in. Once I am in the bathtub, though, I am generally good about hanging out for my bath. I truly love anything that involves my human's hands on me, and my favorite part of the process is getting dried off with the towels.

When I see the leash, I get very excited because I know it means an adventure! I enjoy walks and do well on the leash until I spot a squirrel or another dog, at which point I want to go say hello. Fortunately, if you keep treats in your pocket, I can easily be redirected back to a heel. I am highly motivated by food and will do almost anything for a treat! I am sure you could have a great time teaching me more if you come prepared with treats. If you are looking for a companion that just wants to be loved and enjoys adventures, then I am you guy. Click my link so I can test drive your walking skills!

If you would like to adopt him, fill out an adoption application on our website
www.nwboxerrescue.org

Like us on facebook for more photos of this handsome boy, as well as other boxers we have available! www.facebook.com/northwestboxerrescue

Northwest Boxer Rescue's Adoption Policy
We'd like to tell you about our Adoption Process. First, all of us at Northwest Boxer Rescue are volunteers and no one is paid. We do the best that we can to respond as timely as possible, but we also have dogs, children, spouses, jobs, families, and homes - just like you. So, please be patient with us. Completing an application is the first step in adopting a boxer from NWBR. We try to respond to the request as soon as possible and contact you by phone once we have received the application. Tell us what dog you are interested in on the application. We are glad to answer any questions you have. We want to get to know you and make sure the dog you adopt is the right wiggle butt, not just a dog. It is not only important that you will be happy with your new family member but that your new family member has found their perfect forever home. Many of our dogs come from rough backgrounds and deserve great homes. We spend a lot of time with these guys and try very hard to get to know them as we
