Gracie is proof that a rough beginning doesn't have to dim a happy heart.<br/><br/>At 7 years old, she is sweet, curious, friendly, and absolutely delighted to be loved. She rides beautifully in the car, is a champ at the vet, and has a serious weakness for soft toys, especially the kind she can lovingly destroy in record time.<br/><br/>Gracie may have spent much of her life outside, so she's still learning the comforts and routines of family life. She's making progress on leash and walks well alongside other BAM dogs. Even when another dog reacts to her, she stays calm. We haven't seen her play with other dogs yet, but we know she lived with one before. She may enjoy a canine companion in her new home. We recommend a meet and greet, possibly more than one, and an in-home trial to make sure everyone is comfortable.<br/><br/>We haven't seen Gracie around children yet, either. Given how much she loves grownups, we think she might adore older, respectful kids too. A meet and greet would help everyone get acquainted.<br/><br/>Her bloodwork looks great, and we're taking care of a few age-related needs, including arthritis and dental work. Gracie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
