Gracie's Story

Meet Gracie! She is the kind of dog who brings warmth and softness to any home. Whether she’s carrying around her favorite toy or quietly leaning in for affection, she will make the most loving companion!

Gracie is a 4-year-old spayed female Lab/Border Collie mix with beautiful brown and blue eyes and an even more beautiful heart. She is gentle and sweet but also has a playful side and enjoys a good game of fetch! A fenced in yard for her to run around in is a must! She can also be reactive on leash and will need patient, consistent handling. Gracie can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, she quickly shows her soft, trusting side. She’s wonderful with kids and has a calm, steady presence that makes her a great match for families. Gracie cannot live with cats and can be selective with dogs, so she will need a guided, proper introduction with any canine companions!

This sweet girl enjoys playtime, gentle affection, and settling into a predictable routine with the people she loves. Once she bonds with you, she’s loyal, affectionate, and eager to be part of your everyday life.

Gracie is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative—ready to find a family who can appreciate her gentle spirit and give her the loving home she deserves. If you’re looking for a kind-hearted, kid-friendly companion who’s equal parts gentle and playful, Gracie may be the perfect match for you.

Her adoption fee of $300 includes 2 private sessions with one of our trainers to help her start off on the right paw.

For more information, to set up a meet and greet, or to submit an adoption application, go to https://www.medicalmutts.org/adopt-a-pet-dog.

You can also meet our adoptable dogs in person at our adoption events from 10am–12pm on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month at 6120 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
