GRACIE NEEDS a FOSTER OR ADOPTER as she is currently in boarding (Tipp City, OH) Her previous (short term foster) stated: GRACIE is such a FUN girl; especially when it comes to playing with her new found TOYS ! She plays fetch and will then jump hop to pounce on the toy. She has been known to do some short zoomies when super excited. AND.... she's a BIG CUDDLER and loves to snuggle for naps (an important part of her day). She is a smart cookie with a sensitive spirit, mixed w/a little apprehension when corrected. While in boarding GRACIE enjoys: meandering/ exploring, running, playing with a jolly ball, and tennis ball and tether ball and a few golf carts rides around the complex too.<br/> <br/>When she is ON LEASH, GRACIE will walk at a slow meandering pace (no pulls); loves to do "nose work" on her walk (of course, don't all dogs?) And, stops when she hears an unfamiliar sound or dog bark. <br/><br/>GRACIE is almost a year young, spayed, current on all vaccines, crate trained, house trained, flea/tick free, hw free, about 55lbs, and had a short term stay w/older MALE dog of similar size who taught her some dog appropriate behavior. <br/>Although Gracie may enjoy the company of calmer male dog ; boarding staff noted she would do best as the only female dog in the home. She is smart, spunky, easily trained, full of wiggles and love”.<br/><br/>She MAY be a bit timid (initially) of new people AND new or unfamiliar sounds; but is showing much more confidence each day . When she feels comfortable GRACIE will give you lots of kisses, and will ALWAYS sit for treat ;-) Patience and gentle guidance will be most helpful for GRACIE with any new life experiences she encounters no matter which home/family chooses her as a furry companion.
