Meet Gracie
Meet Your New Best Friend And Save A Life!
Mention Oprah's name and watch Gracie turn her heard towards you with a look saying "Oprah? Oh I know Oprah....we are like sisters... no big deal."
Beautiful Gracie was chosen out of thousands of shelter dogs to be featured on Oprah's website which was seen on a recent episode. Luck you might think? No way... Gracie is the epitomy of class. Very noble looking.
Along with Captain, another dog at Red Sky Rescue, Gracie should have been adopted quite some time ago. She is wonderful, calm and patient around other dogs, children (loves children).. EVEN CATS!
This gorgeous lady stole our hearts the minute we met her! Gracie was obviously loved by one of her previous owners; she is SO gentle and affectionate! As to how she came to Red Sky Rescue is unknown. Forget about the past, we are focused on finding the perfect match for Gracie. She deserves only the best and that special person sees Gracie for the first time will find it hard to not fall in love with her.

Jake Here! What a lucky fella I am... If me and my siblings weren't found by Animal Control I don't know what would have happened to us.
When we got to Red Sky Rescue, Ruth a wonderful angel, was horrified at how many ticks were on us. I guess that explains why I never felt very good. I am so very happy that my brother's and sister's are safe. I was so worried about them. Appararently or from what I remember, the person who was "taking care of us" suddenly decided that they didn't have time for 6 puppies. They put us in the car and we were so excited to be going for a ride in the country. Little did we know that our ride would end pretty quickly and the next thing I knew we were on the side of the road.
But now we are safe, well fed, and truly loved. The rescue wants to place us in the best homes available so that we can have the future that our past never allowed.
We are all vaccinated, cute, and ready to find that perfect person or family. We don't have any issues with cats or dogs. In fact we all like to be surrounded by other dogs so that we can play all day. There are other puppies at the rescue so its easy to play being the same size.
I am sure that many puppies love to be cuddled but to be honest with you, we REALLY REALLY love it. Maybe it's due to the fact that we never were until we came to Red Sky.
Each of us have our own personality yet we all love eachother and only want the best. Come by for a visit or give Ruth a call if you have any questions. Hope to see you soon!

We strive to ensure that once they are adopted they are in their forever home. Therefore we take extra precaution for the both parties involved. Below is Red Sky Rescue's Adoption Process Protocol
1. Complete Application of Interest
2. Follow up phone interview from Rescue volunteer
3. Meet and Greet (must include all members of the family plus any current dogs living in residence)
4. Home Visit
