NOTE: ADOPTION DONATION IS $525 & INCLUDES SPAY/NEUTER, AGE APPROPRIATE VACCINATIONS, DEWORMING, and HOME AGAIN MICRO-CHIP.
This group of musician puppies were born on March 24, 2016, and are large breed hound mixes Our best guess on breed is a heavy mix of Blue Tick Hound and Black and Tan Coonhound. At 6 weeks of age (as of 5/5), the pups are 10 pounds. This puts them on target to be 85 – 90 pound dogs at full maturity. Their mom Charm is a kind, loving, social and devoted dog. Her pups will be spayed/neutered at Animal Alliance of New Jersey Planned Pethood Clinic on Thursday May 19 on their 8 week birthday and ready to go to homes the weekend of May 21-22. Adoption fee is $525 and includes spay/neuter, Home Again microchip, all age appropriate vaccines and deworming, several thorough veterinary exams by the vets at Animal Alliance, flea/tick and heartworm preventative, collar, name tag and leash. All pups were lovingly raised by their canine mom and a group of dedicated people who comprised their foster family. The pups are extremely well socialized and will make great pets for any household or family situation where there is a moderate to high activity level. Fenced yards recommended but not required, given the breed mix. Hounds are very sensitive to scent and will lose all awareness of their surroundings if their nose catches a whiff of something interesting they can hunt down, such as deer, a squirrel, etc.
If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out the online application. Pups are in foster homes and NOT in residence at our adoption center in Lambertville. Prior to submitting an application, please see the Animal Alliance Adoption Process for adoption details.
Animal Alliance is not a shelter where all the animals are housed in one location. Animal Alliance is a foster care network and animals are housed in many different locations. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please apply using the online application; applicants who call our phone line will hear a recorded voicemail with this identical message. We adopt many animals each week and meet prospective adopters at various locations so they can meet the animals they are interested in. To apply for adoption click here.
