Gordo's Story

FAST FACTS:
* 1 Years Old & 54lbs
* Dog Friendly
* Cat Friendly
* Kid Friendly
* Crate Trained
* Working On Potty Training
* Low Energy, Loves To Cuddle, Affectionate, Great Walkers

This sweet, easygoing boy is the definition of calm and cuddly. He is dog-friendly with both male and female dogs of all sizes and is extremely submissive. He’s super gentle and not at all rambunctious. He may occasionally try to hump female dogs, but it’s easily corrected and not a big concern. He would do just as well as an only dog as he would in a home with other dogs.

He is kid-friendly with children of all ages and has the perfect low-energy temperament for a relaxed household. This guy loves to lounge around, snooze the day away, or curl up close to his human for some quality cuddle time. Snuggling is truly his superpower—he adores laying in a lap and soaking up all the pets he can get.

He is crate trained and does wonderfully, settling right in without barking or crying. He is still working on potty training and may mark in new environments, but he has had no accidents overnight in his suite, which is a great sign. On leash, he’s a dream—an excellent walker with no signs of prey drive. He enjoys being outside, especially in cold or snowy weather, and clearly thrives as a snow-loving pup. He has shown interest in chewing bones, though toys haven’t quite won him over yet.

He is cat friendly and can easily be in a home with one. Overall, he is truly one of the easiest, chillest dogs you’ll ever meet and would be a wonderful addition to just about any home looking for a laid-back, affectionate companion.

If interested in adopting me please fill out an application on our website at www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org; please make sure you fill in every required field/question or your submission will not go through.
