Goose's Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, January 17. We are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applicants January 12-18.*

Goose is the sweetest little soul, offering the perfect blend of playful puppy energy and full-time cuddle-bug charm. He loves romping around with the resident dog, but when it’s time to relax, he’s just as happy curled up on the couch soaking in the snuggles.

He’s gently curious about the resident cat and would love to be friends, but he’s already learning to respect boundaries—such a good boy. Goose will head into his kennel when asked (even if he delivers an Oscar-worthy “sad puppy” look), and he’s making great progress with potty training. The leash can feel a bit intimidating right now, simply because the world is big and brand new, but his confidence is growing more every day.

Goose especially enjoys being near the resident 11-year-old and would be perfectly content spending his days curled up in a kid’s lap. He’s interested in toys and playtime, though what truly motivates him is closeness—being near his people is his favorite place to be. Goose would thrive in a home ready to continue building his confidence, enjoy some puppy playtime, and provide plenty of cuddles along the way.

Goose is a 9-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Goose is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, and potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).

For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.

Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Thank you for choosing adoption!
