Goose's Story

Hi, this super friendly, well, mannered, well-behaved dog is Goose.
Goose is a happy, healthy, seven-year-old border collie.
He loves to be loved. He also loves to give love. Another thing he loves is playing with his canine sister. He loves to encourage her to get up and get moving. He will gladly share all of his belongings, including his toys and bones if that’ll encourage her to have a romp with him.
If she’s not up for it, that’s OK with Goose. He’s a well-balanced pup, whether inactivity or when resting.
Goose has spent his entire life in this home with this family. Last year there was a big change in Goose’s world.
That came in the form of a human baby sister. Goose isn’t quite sure what to make of her and hasn’t been quite the same dog since her arrival.
She recently became mobile, which makes Goose very nervous.
Goose has never bitten, nipped, scratched, or otherwise, a human or another dog.
When the baby starts moving around, Goose remove himself from laying in the same room as his family.
He is a type of dog who doesn’t fight, but rather he will take flight
The human sister is the first child of what is hope to be a family with several children
Loud noises, fireworks, thunderstorms, don’t phase him, but an infant crawling across the room heading in his direction is like a scary monster coming to get em.
The discomfort shown combined with the growing family has led his family to make the heartbreaking decision to find a new family for their beloved Goose. A family that will be understanding and loving while he experiences the transition of a new home.
Goose is fully vaccinated, neutered, and micro chipped.
He is fully housebroken and listens to commands
Being a border collie, we will require his new home to also have a fenced in yard.
Goose is a gem and truly is the full package. No extensive training work is needed, he is move in ready!
Please visit our website at www.bubbasstationrescue.org and fill out an application.
