Goose's Story

Goose is a stunning tri-colored Australian Cattle Dog with a beautifully marked coat, a perfect Bentley spot on his forehead, and picture-perfect perky ears that add to his irresistible charm.

Don’t let his handsome looks distract you from his brains. Goose is sharp, eager, and learning fast. In less than three weeks with his foster family, he mastered both “sit” and “paw.” He’s the very definition of a Velcro pup and lives for snuggles, happiest when he’s right by your side.

Goose is housebroken, making good progress with crate training, and his leash skills are improving daily.

Goose has a fantastic social temperament. He gets along well with other dogs, has been a perfect gentleman with elementary-age children, and does a great job of keeping all four paws on the floor when meeting new people. Sweet, smart, treat-driven, and affectionate, he loves running, sticking close to his person, and making new friends—human or canine. True to his heeler nature, he wakes up each day ready for purpose and play.

This handsome guy is approximately 2 years old, has a docked tail, and weighs 35 pounds. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is currently taking flea and heartworm preventative.

Goose would thrive with an active, dog-experienced family looking for their new best buddy, or with an adventurous person seeking a loyal, devoted wingman for trails, travel, and everyday life.

Thanks for considering a dog from Texas Cattle Dog Rescue!
