Goose's Story

Goose is a stunning tri-colored Australian Cattle Dog with a beautifully marked coat, a perfect Bentley spot on his forehead, and picture-perfect perky ears that add to his irresistible charm.

Don’t let his handsome looks distract you from his brains. Goose is sharp, eager, and learning fast. In less than three weeks with his foster family, he mastered both “sit” and “paw.” He’s the very definition of a Velcro pup and lives for snuggles, happiest when he’s right by your side.

Goose is housebroken, making good progress with crate training, and his leash skills are improving daily.

Goose gets along wonderfully with other dogs, has been great with kids (5 years and older) and is as sweet and affectionate as they come. He loves running, meeting new friends, and being someone’s loyal shadow. He's very afraid of cats and we recommend a home that is feline-free.

This handsome guy is approximately 2 years old, has a docked tail, and weighs 35 pounds. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is currently taking flea and heartworm preventative.

Goose would thrive with an active, dog-experienced family looking for their new best buddy, or with an adventurous person seeking a loyal, devoted wingman for trails, travel, and everyday life.

Thanks for considering a dog from Texas Cattle Dog Rescue! We place heelers all over the state of Texas.

If you're interested in one of our dogs, please complete our adoption application first.
