Goose was rescued when he was on death row at a high kill facility in Memphis. He is one year of age and is looking for a family to call his own. Goose is quite the little cuddle-bug. He loves to relax and sleep next to (or on) his foster mom and dad whenever they sit down long enough to let him. He also likes to be a little shadow while you go about your business. He is very food motivated and that had made it easier to teach him. He is currently learning the basics and being house trained. So far, so good. He is also being crate trained. He is still getting the hang of that, but getting better by the day. He loves to lay out in the grass and roam in the sun. He appears to get along well with all dogs, but is a little timid with dogs that are bigger and overbearing (like his foster sister, Kiki!), but he still gets along well with them. He seems to like to play with dogs nearer to his size and strength. He is currently about 22 lbs. It doesn't appear that he will get too much bigger though. I think he will be great in most environments. He seems like he would be a wonderful companion that will stick to his parents and cuddle pretty much anytime you want. He seems to bond and get comfortable quickly. He is a very docile little guy. Goose is waiting to meet his new family so he can cuddle, make his silly faces, and adorably wag his little stumpy tail! Meet Goose, you will not be disappointed!
Goose's adoption fee is $250, with $50 refunded after completion of an approved basic class.
