Goober

LAST CHANCE SPONSORED ADOPTION!

Being part of The Rescue Effect, Goober's adoption fee is SPONSORED with an approved application submitted by October 24th!

Goober is about 1 year old, 40 pounds, and fully lives up to his name! This Retriever/Shepherd mix (our best guess!) is full of love, energy, and absolutely zero grace. He'll keep you laughing with his goofy antics and make sure life is never boring!

Goober is a happy, social guy who loves EVERYONE, especially other dogs! His foster home is basically 24/7 play time. He also loves toys, people, and even gets along with cats! He's been observed around chickens and horses, too. He may be a little reserved with men at first, but give him a day or so and he'll be your buddy.

After being neglected in his previous home, Goober is ready for a family who will show him just how great life can be. He's eager to please, crate trained, nearly house trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He'll need some help polishing his manners, especially when it comes to trying to bolt through an open door. This goofy boy has places to go and fun to have, apparently!

Goober would thrive in an active home that's ready to keep his mind and body busy and continue working on training. A playful dog sibling would be a HUGE bonus, but it's not a must if his people can keep him entertained. He's currently taking skin and coat chews to help with dandruff and itchy skin.

Goober can go to his forever home starting October 20! He's scheduled to be neutered on November 11 and is ready to find the people who will love his silly self forever!

Think your home could use a little more laughter, a lot of love, and one very enthusiastic champion? Goober is your guy!

If you want to apply to adopt please go to https://www.onebyonerescue.org/adoptablepets

Together, we're saving lives—one by one!

One By One Rescue is an all volunteer, 501c3 non-profit foster based rescue.
