Hello Everyone! Goober here and I am a Shepherd Mix. The folks at the shelter believe that I am about 1 year old. I made some friends while I was a stray and they brought me to MaxFund to find my furever home.
I am still quite young, so I will need some training. When I see someone who I would like to meet or something that I want, I will pull you with me. It is my ambition to become the best canine citizen ever, so I would love to go home to a family that will continue my training. I am already house broken.
I do great with people of all sizes, no matter how old they are. I would love to go home with someone who is active, so we can run around together. Hikes, long walks, and lots of play time are what I am here for. A home with a yard would be ideal for me since I am a big boy and will need lots of space.
I get along great with all other dogs, no matter the size. I really want to make friends with everyone I meet. Any potential fur-siblings will have to meet with me just to be absolutely certain that we get along.

How our adoption process works:
1. You MUST come into the shelter to meet a dog you are interested in (and meet a few others, while you’re at it!)

Our hours are 10-5 Mon, Wed, Thu Fri / 11-5 Saturday / 12-5 Sunday
We suggest you call ahead to be sure the dog(s) do not have pending applications
2. You will fill out your adoption application, including references, after finding a dog you’d like to adopt
3. The application review and reference checks will take up to 3-5 business days; you will not be able to bring a dog home same-day
We only take 2 applications per dog, before they are unavailable. This is why we suggest you call ahead to check the status of the pup!

We do not adopt out-of-state.
