Gonzo's Story

Gonzo was brought to our shelter after his owner passed away. He was very fearful of people, and it took animal control several weeks to catch him. He has been very slow to warm up to us, but is starting to gain trust in us and become more confident in himself. He does have anxiety, and will need an understanding owner who is patient and willing to let Gonzo warm up at his own pace. Gonzo is very smart and will need structure, physical activity, and mental stimulation. An owner who is experienced with the traits and needs of cattle dogs would be best.
