GLORIA's Story

GLORIA is a 3 yr old small mixed breed female, rescued from a SC shelter euthanasia list. She absolutely adores people, all sizes and ages. She is petite only about 30-35 lbs. She loves to play and run in the yard, but only if you want to participate! Playing is no fun without a partner. A fenced yard is a requirement for Gloria. She will do her zoomies and play for a bit but then she's ready to come in and curl up for a nap. She does not like other dogs at all - She MUST be an only dog, but that's perfectly fine with her!. NO DOG PARKS, NO WALKS IN PUBLIC PLACES. She was adopted once, they didnt listen and while on a walk in a public parks with several.other dogs there she got out of her harness and went after one of the other dogs. In the process of breaking up the fight the person was bitten, it was not intentional on her part but going after the other dog was. She is not a social butterfly- she is small and unless you are going to work with a behaviorist, she is perfectly happy to enjoy her own yard and house without excursions. She's great in the car with a tether, of course, so a ride for an ice cream is fine - just keep her in the car.
Gloria is all girl -
She likes to dress up and her SC foster sent up the jammies she bought for her. She loves a bath.
She is crate trained but doesn't need it.
We are not sure how she would be with a cat so until we know we are saying no cats. Children need to be old enough to know to leave her alone when she's in her crate. So no little ones, at least 8-10 years old. She loves toys, especially stuffies and she likes a soft cushy bed to sleep in. She is housetrained and up to date with shots. She is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $350, an approved application and a home visit are required. She really is a wonderful little dog who.loves people and is very social. She just needs to be a homebody.
Contact jacksonslegacy170@gmail.com for more information and an application.
