Gloria's Story
Meet Gloria 🤍

This sweet girl is around 8 years old and has the gentlest soul. Gloria found herself at the Medina Shelter heartbreakingly skinny, with long nails and quietly waiting as she was passed over. We often think about what would have happened if an amazing foster hadn’t stepped up when they did. Because of them, Gloria got her second chance.
Once out of the shelter, Gloria was taken straight to the vet where she is now being treated for a UTI and hookworms. She’s currently in a foster home with cats, and while she’s very curious about them, we’re still learning what her intentions are. What we do know is that Gloria would thrive best with an older, calmer dog, or possibly as the only pup, as she doesn’t seem interested in playing much.

Gloria’s favorite place is right by her person’s side. She would love a home where someone is around often, because all she truly wants is companionship and comfort. She does have some separation anxiety, but she’s already making progress with patience, consistency, and love. She’ll need someone who understands her and is willing to continue helping her feel safe and secure.
We love Gloria so much, and it’s important to be honest. Adopting a senior means committing to their medical care and well being as they age. We don’t know her past, but we know her future should be filled with endless cuddles, kindness, and stability.
