Glizzy's Story

Glizzy-affectionately known as "GG"-is a sweet, loyal girl who has quickly stolen the hearts of everyone who's met her. Her favorite activities? Snuggling on the couch, following her nose on walks, and showing off how smart she is (treats definitely help!). She knows sit, down, leave it, and even waits for an "OK" before diving into her meals. She's house-trained, kennel-trained, and loves having a cozy spot to nap while you work or relax.
Glizzy is an absolute people-lover. She greets visitors like old friends and enjoys being part of the action without being overwhelming. Her perfect day includes a short walk, a squeaky toy or two, and curling up beside you for a nap.
Because of her strong prey drive and reactivity toward other animals, Glizzy would do best as the only pet in the home. She's also best suited to a home without babies or toddlers, but older kids and adults will adore her sweet and affectionate nature.
Glizzy does have a serious heart condition called severe subaortic stenosis, which unfortunately means her life expectancy is shorter than average (most dogs with her condition don't live beyond age 3). She takes medication to help her heart and is doing great in her foster home, but her adopter will need to continue her care and understand her limitations.
