Gladys is a female German Shepherd mix. She is approximately eight years old, and currently weighs 103 lbs. She was brought to our shelter on 12/28/25 after being found in unincorporated San Leandro. She hasn't been reclaimed by her previous person, so she's now looking for a new home! She has been vaccinated, and will be spayed and micro-chipped before going to her new home.<br/><br/>Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable), plus the cost of her spay surgery. Gladys qualifies for Senior Sunday! Adopt her on a Sunday and we'll waive her adoption fee, and her spay surgery will be sponsored!

All adoptions take place in person at the East County Animal Shelter. Our address is 4595 Gleason Drive, Dublin, CA 94568. Our phone number is 925-803-7040. We are open seven days a week (excluding county holidays) from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm. Please arrive early enough to give yourself time to get acquainted with your prospective new pet before we can begin the adoption paperwork.
