Gladys's Story

Gladys is a gentle golden girl. She is rated a "1" (out of 4) by our volunteers, meaning she is polite and easy to take out for walks. She is lower energy, and doesn't require a lot of exercise. After a short walk, she is then happy to just hang out by your side and keep you company. She is a female German Shepherd mix, who is approximately eight years old, and currently weighs 92 pounds (down from 103). She was brought to our shelter on 12/28/25 after being found in unincorporated San Leandro. She hasn't been reclaimed by her previous person, so she's now looking for a new home! She has been vaccinated, spayed, and micro-chipped.

Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). Her spay surgery has been sponsored. Gladys qualifies for Fluffy Dog Friday and Senior Sunday! Adopt her on a Friday or a Sunday and we'll waive her adoption fee!
