Glacia Storm's Story
This gorgeous bright eyed girl was found by a friend of the rescue. She joined our rescue and we found she was very skinny, had intestinal parasites, and a skin infection. With medication, nourishment, special baths, and a ton of love, she was quickly on her way to feeling better and flourishing with her foster family!

Her eyes are such a piercing icey blue that a stunning glacier popped into our rescue leader's head. She tweaked it and named her Glacia (pronounced Glay-sha) but her foster mom keeps calling her Stormy so we've landed on Glacia Storm!

At her first doctors appointment, she was a very skinny 33 lbs at an estimated 8-9 months of age. She's now closer to 40 lbs. Her Veterinarian guessed her breed was a mix of black mouth cur, shepherd and maybe husky to give her those baby blues. But we're never quite sure in rescue.

This sweetheart is the best hugger, she wraps her head around your neck to cuddle (even when in the bath) and lays across your lap like a rainbow. She is so cute to watch play because she pounces with all 4 paws at her toys. She loves big stuffies and tennis balls but her absolute favorite is hunting little backyard critters. So much so that she frequently just has her booty in view because she is half in a bush stalking lizards or frogs.

Glacia Storm loves making new doggie friends who want to play with her and she loves getting pets by kids or watching them racing by on their bikes. She is crate trained and sleeps soundly all night, she waits in her kennel while you prepare food, she takes treats gently, and is a dream on car rides.

Her foster mom loves her one floppy ear, that she SMILES when she sleeps (see picture), and that she struts around on her big paws like a wolf pup. She's also obsessed with belly scratches - who isn't! Is your family missing a girl like Glacia Storm?
