When her mom passed away, Gizzie and her brother were suddenly left behind. There were five adult children in the family... but not one of them stepped forward to take them. Instead, the family discussed taking the two little dogs to a shelter to be euthanized. Thankfully, before that could happen,<br/><br/>Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue<br/><br/>stepped in.<br/><br/>When Gizzie first arrived, she was clearly miserable. Quiet. Uncomfortable. Not herself at all.<br/>The reason soon became clear — seven of her teeth were completely rotten and causing her constant pain. Once those painful teeth were removed, everything changed.<br/><br/>It was like watching a whole new dog appear.<br/><br/>Now Gizzie is happy, silly, and full of life again. She has the sweetest little personality and loves being near her people.
