Meet Gizmo — a spunky little old man whose scruffy face tells the story of a life full of hardship. At just 10 pounds, Gizmo was found wandering a trailer park, where neighbors said he had been dumped and left behind. Frail, slow-moving, and clearly in rough shape, there’s no way this sweet boy could have survived much longer on his own.<br/><br/>Gizmo’s skin was dry, cracked, and bleeding in places, with large patches of hair loss. His teeth are worn, hinting at years of neglect. The vet estimates he’s around 8–10 years old. But despite it all, he still has a little pep in his step and a big heart full of love to give.<br/><br/>Now safe in a foster home, Gizmo is already receiving treatment for his skin and starting to feel better. He enjoys cozying up under the covers for long naps, gets excited to see familiar faces, and has the most adorable little trot when he walks. Car rides? He loves them.<br/><br/>Gizmo is:<br/> • ? He deserves a loving, safe forever home where he can enjoy his golden years feeling cherished, cozy, and cared for—however many he has left.
