Gizmo and Cabo

Gizmo (white/brown) and Cabo (brown) are siblings.  They are ten years old and have been together since birth.  They are a bonded pair and we would not split them.  They are always together and have never been apart.  The brothers are chi/terrier mix and weigh approximately 10lbs. Both dogs are fully vetted to include dentals.  These sweet brothers came into rescue when their owner was diagnosed with cancer.  The owner contacted us to ask if the boys could join the rescue so they would not have to go to a shelter. The owner asked us to keep them together.  It was hard enough to lose their mommy and their home, but they now live in foster care, five months.  It can be difficult adopting a bonded pair of ten-year brothers.  These sweet boys have been with their foster mom since September 1st, 2023;  Not one application has been received.  We do our very best to save as many dogs as possible and it is heartbreaking to watch these sweet babies sit in our foster home for months, just waiting for their owner to return to pick them up.  For ten years, they were loved and had a good life, but all that changed, and now they are forced to start over with a new life.
