Everyone will need to meet at the shelter first to ensure they're a good match!<br/>-Can Live with Cats: Has been around cats in foster home - will need proper introductions to ensure everyone gets along. May be overwhelming for shy or senior kitties who prefer being left alone.<br/>-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, pending an initial introduction done here at the shelter<br/>-Can do Apartment Living: A home with a yard would be much preferred! Be sure to think longterm about your living arrangements and check with property management for any breed restrictions.<br/>-Potty Trained: Working on it!<br/>-Bite History: No<br/>-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, a 6 week puppy course<br/>-Energy Level: High!<br/>-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, needs a spay and microchip at whs<br/>-Additional Information:<br/>Gipley (The Firecracker): The runt with the big voice! She’s spunky, spirited, and isn't afraid to say "hello" to anyone she meets.<br/><br/>This group of puppies were the result of an accidental/unwanted litter--but we sure do think they're going to make great companions for your family. They have been housed in foster homes since arriving to the shelter where they have been learning the basic foundations of positive reinforcement and reward based training, as well as meeting cats, dogs, and other puppies. They have also been desensitized to loud noises, new environments, and much more. We did our very best to prepare them for their adopter, so please follow through and go to your puppy training classes so they can keep learning how to be wonderful pets to be around.<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
