Her past included life in a puppy mill. Upon her release and entry into Loyal rescue, her personality started to shine. Having the stability of routine, the companionship and love of her people and family dogs she is enjoying some of those simple things.<br/><br/>Ginny has a strong desire to be near you most of the time. She will follow you around the house if you change rooms. Ginny wants to be close and will snuggle happily and go off to sleep if she is near you. She is quickly learning that human contact is all good. When she is close, she may paw you for a pet or chin rub. She loves hand contact. Once she knows the routine and has a quiet environment, she gains confidence quickly. Ginny will stay at your feet, beside you on the couch and sleep in your bed.<br/><br/>She has discovered the outdoors and is happy to investigate all the smells and sights. The weather has limited our ability to have her learn leash walking but given her propensity to be near, it should be a small step for her. She is good with other dogs and as such should have another fur baby in her forever home. Ginny is learning about life outside of the mill, and will need continued encouragement to potty outside but is doing well.<br/><br/>Ginny despite her past, is starting to play with her tail wagging enthusiastically. Her favourite time is going to bed at night. Ginny will need a secure backyard,( no apts or condos), a quiet environment, routine, someone home to guide her and provide her with comfort and another canine companion in her new home to ensure she will continue on a positive path and be the love of your life.<br/><br/>If you can provide a cozy spot for Ginny and want to guide her in life, fill in an application.
