Ginnie's Story

Meet Ginnie!

She’s ready to be your ride-or-die, your adventure sidekick, and your very best friend. Born in her foster home, Ginnie has been waiting her whole life (literally!) for a forever family to call her own. She celebrated her second birthday in February, and there’s nothing she’d love more than to spend it with her people.

Ginnie may look petite, but don’t be fooled—this 48-pound girl is solid muscle wrapped up in a compact frame. Once she’s comfortable, her personality shines bright and bold. She can be a little reserved in new situations and prefers a calmer environment over chaos, but give her a little time and you’ll see her playful, spunky spirit. If you love a sweet and snuggly pup with a dash of sass and a charming “I do what I want” streak, Ginnie is absolutely your girl.

She loves exploring the yard, stretching her legs with a good run, playfully stalking and chasing her dog friends, and supervising your gardening efforts (especially if it involves weed control). She’s also a natural swimmer and enjoys making a splash when she gets the chance. Because she’s only ever known the safety of a physically fenced yard, her forever home will need one too.

Ginnie is potty trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on her harness. She hasn’t been around cats in her foster home, so her feelings about feline friends are still a mystery.

All she needs now is a committed family to continue her training, shower her with love, and give her the forever home she’s been patiently waiting for.

Ginnie is available for adoption through Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, UTD on all age appropriate vaccines, and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $350. To apply, please visit www.mapawsmepetrescue.com.

All Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue dogs are in homes with foster families; we do not have a shelter where dogs are available for daily viewing.

Our process is as follows:
1. Review our policies and adoption radius on our website: http://mapawsmepetrescue.com/adopt/
2. Submit an application for review and approval;
3. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;
4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);
5. If there is a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees (payable via check or cash).

The adoption fee is listed here: http://mapawsmepetrescue.com/adopt/

Dogs from Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Age appropriate vaccinations
- Heartworm test (for dogs over 6mo) and treatment if positive
- Microchip
- Deworming
- Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
- Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

*Please note that the identified breed(s) are best guesses. We very rarely have information on our dogs' actual breeds since they often come to the shelters we work with as strays.*
