Hi there! My name is Ginger, and I'm a 42-pound Shepherd mix with a playful heart and a love for all things fun! <br/><br/>I absolutely adore chasing toys-especially the squeaky ones-and I'll even play a quick round of tug before happily dropping it so you can throw it again. I'm full of personality and not afraid to let you know what I want; I'll whine if you're taking too long with my treat, if I'm ready to come inside, or when I just really want to play. <br/><br/>I love being active and engaged, and I do best when I have people and toys to keep me busy. Boredom isn't my style-I'd much rather be having fun and sharing time with my favorite humans! I can be a little jumpy at times-sudden movements or surprises might spook me-but once I realize everything's okay, I settle right back down. <br/><br/>I might also need a bit of help working through some separation anxiety, so I'd do best with someone who's home often or who can help me learn that being alone isn't so scary. Apartment life probably isn't the best fit for me since I can be a bit vocal when I miss my people. <br/><br/>What I'm really looking for is a patient, loving home where I can build confidence, stay active, and grow into the brave, happy girl I'm meant to be. With time, consistency, and care, I'll be your loyal and spirited companion for life.<br/><br/>My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.<br/><br/>All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.<br/><br/>Happy Adopting!
